Jury Duty

I have gotten my very first ever actual jury summons. I am excited- I've always wanted to serve on a jury.

Except then I find out that Marcus Buckingham is speaking at the same time I'm supposed to be at the courthouse. I'm conflicted.

I read his book Now, Discover Your Strengths, and loved it. I've heard him speak once, and would love to hear him again.

Brickbreaker

When I am bored I sometimes play Brickbreaker on my Blackberry. It's like a retarded version of Breakout.

Anyway, I always thought it was designed to help get rookies used to the thumbwheel.

But apparently its getting to be quite the competitive sport.

The article notes people are scoring in the 7-figure range. To a mook like me that is amazing. My personal best?

4,215.

And I EARNED it!
Rereading old notebooks

So, I'm going through an old notebook I found on the bookshelf.

And I find a note.

"Terry Tate, Office Linebacker." I have no recollection what this means, so I google it.

And spend the next half hour wetting my pants laughing at this stupidity.

Then? I make a "Shame" badge, like the Sensitivity Trainer uses.

I can't wait to hand them out at the office.
